DANIEL P. NULTON

Sergeant Daniel P. Nulton interest in law enforcement began as a young man in high school during the early 1970's, when he joined a "Police Explorers Program." His profound interest in law enforcement continued to grow as he enrolled and graduated with an Associate of Liberal Arts Degree and an Associate of Sciences Degree in Police Science from Broome Community College in 1975.
Dan soon realized this field of study was his calling and he decided to enrolled and graduated in 1977 with his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Public Justice from The State University College of New York at Oswego, NY. Officer Nulton was soon hired as a full-time police officer in 1978, at the Village of Endicott, NY Police Department.
During his illustrious career, Officer Nulton also served as a member of the Bomb Squad, which he helped to create and formulated along with personnel from both police and fire agencies into a multi-regional agency of the Southern Tier of the State of New York, as well as the several counties in northern Pennsylvania.
Officer Nulton was promoted to the rank of Sergeant with the Endicott, New York Police Department and also served as a labor representative with both the New York State Federation of Police, Inc., as well as its national affiliate, the United Federation of Police Officers, Inc.
Prior to his retirement from the Endicott, NY Police Department in July 2002, Sergeant Dan Nulton saw an opportunity to help other locals and PBA's who were grossly underpaid and were in need of his type of expertise.
During the last 14 years, Dan Nulton has shown an unique ability to not only represent his members, but to also represent those in law enforcement community with his national service to labor with the UFPO.
Dan Nulton rose through the ranks of labor and has became a well known and well respected member of the law enforcement labor community. His negotiation skills on issues involving, collective bargaining, discipline, as well as wages and benefits are second to none.
His respect as both a labor leader and his extremely knowledgeable experience as a negotiator elevated him to the elected position as the International Executive Vice President of the United Federation of Police Officers, Inc.
In December 2016, Daniel R. Nulton was re-elected to a five (5) year term as the International Executive Vice-President of the United Federation of Police Officers, Inc.
