2026 National Faith & Blue Weekend (VT)

Dear United Federation of Police Officers Executive Board,

I hope you all have been well.

Our team and our partners across the country are preparing for the 2026 National Faith & Blue Weekend, which will take place October 9–12, 2026. We are deeply grateful for the support that you and your associations have provided to Faith & Blue over the past several years.

As you know, Faith & Blue was launched in 2020 in partnership with every major national law enforcement association. Since then, every police chiefs’ and sheriffs’ associations in the country have joined this collaborative effort to foster stronger relationships between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve.

Today, Faith & Blue has grown into one of the largest collaborative law enforcement-community engagement initiatives in American history. We are hopeful that even more Vermont agencies will participate this year. Faith & Blue provides law enforcement agencies with an opportunity to partner with local faith-based organizations and community groups to strengthen relationships, build trust, and promote safer, more connected communities.

To provide agencies with ample time to plan for October, we have scheduled a statewide Faith & Blue Planning and Organizing Meeting for all Vermont law enforcement agencies next week. Here are the details:
